About Us
The Oregon Kosher is a non- profit corporation founded by community and Rabbinic leaders of Oregon in 1997 to serve the Kashrus needs of Oregonian consumers. We seek to promote both the understanding and the application of a Kosher lifestyle in this area. Our first project was supervising the local Albertsons, which provides kosher beef & Chicken as well as housing a Kosher deli. Since then, the Oregon Kosher has grown to a full service regional Kashrus agency with a reputation for Kashrus expertise, with clients throughout the Pacific Northwest. Locally, the Oregon Kosher continues to focus on community kashrus, as well as promoting kosher observance, through kosher information, classes and assistance in keeping a kosher kitchen.
